"Formalintec II" Aerosol Atomiser for formaldehyde disinfection/sterilisation treatment and automatic
neutralisation of residual disinfectant - stainless steel
construction, mounted on wheels for easy relocation - separate
tanks for ammonia and formaldehyde - tank level warning light -
timer for setting length of formaldehyde treatment - separate
pushbutton controls for either tank's thermostat - supplied with
funnels for filling and lifting handle - available in two versions:
GT250 Type for disinfecting environments of 100 to 2500 m3 and
sterilising environments of 10 to 250 m3 and GT500 Type for
disinfecting environments of 500 to 5000 m3 and sterilising
environments of 50 to 500 m3 - power supply: 220 V, 50 Hz. |

INSTRUCTION FOR USE
1. Put the unit in the centre of the room. close doors and windows.
Calculate the total volume of the room in cubic metre (length x
width x height). Note the correct volume of formaldehyde and
ammonia to be used and the time using the corresponding tables. The
total time cycle can be shorted using additional tanks for
formaldehyde with water.
2. Fill in the formaldehyde tank with formaldehyde and water. If
additional tanks are used, they should be filled in first. The
operation should be done using a protective mask.
3. Fill in the ammonia thank with ammonia always wearing a
protective mask.
4. Program the timer following the data reported on the table. This
time is inclusive of vaporization and reaction time.
5. Connect the unit to the mains supply and push the two buttons to
activate formaldehyde tank thermostat and ammonia tank thermostat.
The 3 pilot lamps (formaldehyde thermostat, ammonia thermostat,
timer) will light on.
6. Leave the enclosed environment. close the door and put a warning
with the indication:NO ENTRY - DESINFECTION TREATMENT BY
FORMALDEHYDE.
During the cycle, the 3 pilot lamps will switch off in the
following order:
a) Formaldehyde tank pilot lamp when the liquid is finished.
b) Timer pilot lamp when the programmed time is over (formaldehyde
action time).
c) Ammonia tank lamp when the liquid is finished.
Enter the room at the end of time reported on the table.
THE WORKING PRINCIPLE OF FORMALINTEC
The Formalintec is used for the desinfection/sterilization of
closed environments.
First step: the formaldehyde water solution is vaporized to obtain
the Desinfection/sterilization action.
Second step: the ammonia is vaporized to neutralize the toxic
effect of formaldehyde and to utilize the sanified environment as
soon as possible.
